Our Reformer Classes

At The Pilates Collective Surrey, we try and keep things simple. We have three Reformer Classes to choose from and there are just three people per class.

Reformer Foundations

A detail led class focusing on the BASI approach encompassing the block system to exercise the body as a whole. A great place to start for beginners but also anyone who really wants to put strong foundations in place in order to understand and expand their practice.

Reformer Foundations for Men

Following the demand for our Men’s Matwork class we’re introducing Reformer classes for Men, for those men who prefer to be in a class just with men. Pilates is a fantastic compliment to any other form of movement, be it Golf, Running, Cycling, Padel, you name it! Flexibility is not a requirement. The class level is the same as Reformer Foundations above.

Reformer Flow

A more challenging class for those with more experience of the Reformer repertoire. Having built the foundations this class will look to challenge stamina and concentration with more fluid transitions from one exercise to the next. This class is not suitable for beginners.

Why Choose Reformer?
  • The assistance and resistance of the springs help to understand the movement in your body better.

  • It's highly adaptable depending on your level with almost unlimited modifications and progressions.

  • It helps build functional strength and muscular endurance.

  • It's low impact and gentle on the joints whilst still being load bearing.
